We’re looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join our Modular Lighting Instruments Venture team in Pittsburgh PA. In this role you will work in a small, dynamic and fast paced team eager to grow the business in North America.

What you’ll do

  • You are responsible for order-to-cash support for Modular Lighting Instruments North America Corporation.
  • You create quotes, enter & confirm orders and generate invoices. You coordinate wire transfers, deposit checks and monitor bank accounts for payments.
  • You send picking requests, supplier production orders, and intercompany transfers. You coordinate shipments, pickups and customs clearance. You check data accuracy on all related documentation. You review, qualify and create aftersales tickets for field & transport related issues.
  • You ensure timely and accurate execution in resolving warranty and aftersales related issues. You manage product sample inventory and inboard/outbound shipments. You ship samples, collateral, and marketing materials to customers and partners.
  • You support and execute the accounts receivable, accounts payable and collection processes.
  • You update CRM and ERP tools to ensure information is up to date and accurate. You follow up on new leads & inquiries. You support the sales team for inquiries and requests which enables a seamless customer experience. You prepare projection documentation: submittals, datasheets, drawings, layouts, etc.

What you’ll need

To be successful in this role, you understand what it takes to make a high-end brand better every single day. 

  • You have a minimum of an Associate’s degree preferred along with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a customer service role within a manufacturing industry. A minimum of 3 years of experience supporting a sales team is preferred.
  • You have proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP software, ideally SAP.
  • You are able to multitask and handle a broad and varied workload. You are attentive to detail and have strong organizational and project management skills.
  • You must be local to the Pittsburgh PA area and have the ability to work in an office setting.
