Chival
Formed by one single, pleated plate, Chival shows elements of sharp design and refined craftsmanship. Its up and down vertical light is a natural continuation of the shape, which was inspired by medieval coats of arms.

Designer Frederik Delbart found inspiration in the mediaeval times, where coats of arms adorned the walls of grand halls. He wanted to pair history with modern light technology and create an object that would outlast him. "I pay homage to the craftsmanship of that time. Tradition on the one hand and innovation on the other."

Two sides of light
The refined, quality craftsmanship of Chival is highlighted by its special, wall directional light. A light beam up and down, naturally following the vertical shape of Chival. Topped off with a TIR lens (Total Internal Reflection) that is positioned with meticulous care, Chival casts a pure and powerful light beam. With our first wall luminaire including warm dim, you'll enjoy Chival's powerful presence on the wall, as it creates an intimate warm glow.
Then, now, always
Chival's minimalist shape is formed by a special folding technique on a single plate. The fold line is impeccably concentrated down the centre, dividing the luminaire into two equal parts. Carefully rounded corners show an attentive craftsmanship reflecting the art of the past. It invites itself in several spaces, its soft edges and small proportions giving it a refined touch.
Shields of shades
Create your lighting plan with the sophistication of matching brushed anodised colours, a subtle grey white or the luxurious feel of black chrome. The black chrome will give its own, unique effects by reflecting its surroundings. Chival's two sides will show the rich finish on one side, and absorb the space on the other.
