YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

To strengthen our local finance team, we are looking for a finance assistant to provide support for credit & collection as well as accounts payable. A unique opportunity for a varied role as part of a small team yet in an international context.

Collection | Recording incoming payments and monitoring customer balances. Follow up on open balances and late payments.

Credit control | Asses the creditworthiness of customers based on their financial information. Align with our insurance company and decide on order or delivery releases.
You manage the internal credit risk of our company.

Accounts payable | Handling incoming invoices and different companies. Manage vendor balances and arrange on time payments.

Manage relationships | Communicating with customers and suppliers & building up trustful relations. Internally you will also have contact with different departments as customer service and sales people.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor in a finance discipline or a few years of experience (with a minimum knowledge of accounting: GL & VAT).
  • Accurate & driven to work according to policies, guidelines & procedures.
  • You are communicative, commercial, customer- & result-oriented.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and written. Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • We work with SAP, if you are familiar with this system it is an advantage.
